SANZOKUYAKI is the Japanese deep-fried chicken arranged by Shinsyu(Nagano) local people. It is seasoned with garlic and ginger. Very good 🙂

“KARUIZAWA SAWAYA JAM”: All hand-made with fresh fruits.
“KANTEN PAPA”: The famous company for producing the products using Agar in Nagano area. Agar is arranged in deserts, noodles, dressings, soups and so on. Agar is rich in dietary fiber so very healthy.

From my point of view 🙂
“KARUIZAWA PRINCE SHOPPING PLAZA” is one of my favorite outlet malls. Precisely saying, this is a mixed type of shopping mall with the outlet shops and proper shops. I have also visited other outlet malls in Japan but I think this place has more selections than the others because of may be from that reason.
I feel this outlet has the very relaxed atmosphere maybe it is because the fresh air is around and the open lawn space is there in the middle of the outlet mall. Some people enjoy resting and playing with their dogs. Also, when you are tired walking around, many cafes are available.
This outlet mall is huge so you may need at least one whole day to go around.
“KARUIZAWA” is also known as the mountain resort among Japanese people. So you can stay some hotels, boutique hotels, and B&B around there.
It is nice and best season to visit in summer but freezing in winter. If you plan to visit this area in winter time, please be careful on the icy road!
