Approx. 3-4 hours
by “Super Hakuto” to Kurayoshi
and transfer to Yura Station.

Airport: Yonago Airport

Approx. 1 hour and 20 min.

Staying/Visiting Information

Please note that the access is quite time taking from Tokyo and Osaka.  So visiting other Tottori area is also recommended such as the famous “Tottori Sand Dunes.”

For staying, Hokuei Town is such a small town so usually people are staying around the town such as “Tottori Sand Dunes” area or “Kaike Hot Springs” or “Hawai Hot Springs” area or “Misasa Hot Springs” area.

From my point of view 🙂

“Detective  Conan” is the well famous Japanese manga now.  Translated versions are also available in countries of the Southeast Asia, Europe, the US and Canada.  On the other day of my trip to Bangkok, I was very surprised to see the long queue waiting at the “Detective Conan Cafe” also opened in Bangkok temporary.

This town “HOKUEI TOWN” in Tottori Prefecture is a small town which is not so much popular even among Japanese people.  But now it is getting a bit famous because this town started to collaborate with “Detective Conan.”  It may be interesting to look for Conan like this.

“Detective Conan” was born in such a nice and calm town.
