WHY IN THIS PLACE? THE RED TORII GATES LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF NAGATO COAST IN YAMAGUCHI.

💡 This offering box is located on the top part of the big Torii Gate.

Please try to throw your coin into the box.
If your coin gets into the box, it is said that your wish will come true 🙂

You can go around the Rocky Area to view the edge of the coast.

Since this place became very famous recently…

People started to come all at once so the road and the parking situations on the way to this shrine seems to be out of its capacity and out of control on the weekend and holidays. It may take hours to get there.

From my point of view 🙂

When I visited, I had the impression that very compact in size than I had imagined. This place must have been the quiet and calm place for the people living there. But now it became famous all the sudden. not only foreigners but also many Japanese people started to visit this place recently.

The new parking spaces, the new toilets, and some small shops are there for the visitors. Yes, please keep in mind that it is on the way of preparing for many visitors.

However, the road is narrow that very difficult to pass through from each directions. And now, many buses for people on their tour started to come recently all of the sudden. No wonder why it became quite chaos to get there. So, I do not recommend to go on weekends and holidays until they can fix this problem.

Once you reach there, the landscape is nice. To take the picture of Torii Gates and the ocean together, around the top of 123 Torii Gates is recommended.

If you decide to go there, I hope you enjoy the great scenery on a beautiful sunny day!
